Also know as 'Knotted' Marjoram, it is the milder and sweeter cousin to Oregano, with a balsam-like flavor.
Pairs well with Parsley, Thyme, & Tarragon. Add it into a dish toward the end of cooking so that its flavor isn't lost.
Edible Flowers: Use the flowers, which have a mild and marjoram-like flavor, as you would the herb to garnish salads, soups, stews, sauces, and stuffing. Also pairs well with citrus, mushrooms, and fish.
